Studio

Studio is where Arkios creates things you can present, send, or publish. It handles three kinds of work: presentations, documents, and designs.

The difference between Studio and a generated file is that a Studio document stays editable. Every heading, shape, and image is an object the editor understands. You can ask the assistant to change something and watch it update, or select it and change it yourself. There is no regeneration step and no file to download and re-upload.

Starting a document

Open Studio from the sidebar. Pick what you are making, describe it, and press Create.

Two dropdowns sit under the prompt:

• Agent. The agent that builds the document. It brings its own tools, so it can pull data from your connected systems, search the web, or generate images while it works. An agent connected to your CRM can build a QBR deck with real numbers in it.
• Model. The model that agent uses for this job.

Write the prompt the way you would brief a colleague. Say what it is for, who reads it, and roughly how long it should be.

A 6-slide investor pitch for a climate analytics startup. Cover the problem, the product, traction, and the ask. Keep it confident and data-led.

You can also start from the Studio hub with an empty document and build it yourself.

Presentations

A presentation is a deck of slides on a 1280 by 720 canvas.

The editor has four regions:

• Filmstrip on the left, for reordering, duplicating, and deleting slides.
• Canvas in the middle, where you select and move elements directly.
• Insert and style panel on the right, with text, shapes, arrows, lines, images, icons, and SVG import, plus the background colour, gradient, and image controls for the current slide.
• Assistant on the far right, covered below.

Four themes ship with Studio: Arkios-Light, Arkios-Dark, Midnight, and Boardroom. Switching the theme restyles every slide that uses theme colours, so a deck built in light mode becomes a dark deck in one click.

Present runs the deck full screen for a live audience. Speaker notes stay attached to each slide.

Documents

A document is paginated text with real page setup, letter or A4, with margins. Use it for résumés, reports, memos, letters, proposals, and contracts.

Documents are built from blocks rather than free-floating boxes, so the text reflows correctly across pages. The insert bar carries every block type:

Image	Inline images with a caption and width

Select any block to format it, or double-click the text to edit in place. Tab indents a list item. Inline formatting covers bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, colour, size, and links.

Designs

A design is a fixed-size artboard for graphics rather than pages: social posts, banners, posters, story frames, and headers.

Pick a preset canvas size or set your own:

• Web banner, 1200 by 628
• Social post, 1080 by 1080
• Story, 1080 by 1920
• Header, 1500 by 500
• Poster

A design file can hold several artboards, so one document can carry a whole campaign: the square post, the story version, and the banner, all sharing the same look. Add artboards from the panel on the left.

The AI assistant

Every Studio document has an assistant panel bound to that document. It reads the current structure before it changes anything, then applies a targeted set of edits. That is why it can reword one heading without disturbing the rest of the page.

Ask for what you want in plain language:

Add a slide after the problem slide showing our pricing tiers as a chart.

Tighten section three to a single paragraph.

Make the hero image black and white.

The assistant can:

• Add, redesign, reorder, and delete slides or blocks
• Restyle elements, including gradients, shadows, and typography
• Draw charts as SVG, so they stay sharp at any zoom and remain editable
• Generate new images for a background or an element
• Edit an image already on the page, including background removal, recolouring, and restyling

Each panel also offers quick suggestions such as "Add a title slide with a hero image" or "Make it feel more premium" when you are not sure what to ask for.

Like the hub, the assistant panel has its own agent and model pickers, so you can switch to an agent with access to a particular system mid-edit.

Revisions

Every change is a numbered revision. Open the history icon in the toolbar to see what changed and when, and restore any earlier version. Restoring creates a new revision rather than deleting anything, so nothing is ever lost.

Studio saves as you work. The toolbar shows Saved when the current state is committed.

Export

Export formats depend on what you are working on.

Creating documents from chat

You do not have to open Studio to make something. Ask for a deck, a report, a résumé, or a banner in any Arkios chat and the assistant builds it as a Studio document, then attaches it to the conversation. Open it in Studio when you want to keep editing.

If you specifically want HTML instead, say so in the request and you will get HTML.
